yo xrusos. haven't lost my job (yet) but from what i hear this huge software system the coding team is developing is 2 weeks behind schedule.
to note i have never missed a deadline... i unfortunately may go down with the ship if the client indeed says "take your unfinished work and shove-it."
sucks. i might lose my job because of poor project management.
although i will still be king kOna.
(nice ring to it)oh, and if that chick on the landing page of your site (plastic surgery) is an actual patient i want that job. what a hottie. want to touch the highney.... aaaaoooooooo!

In a related story:
I am hungover.

laurie is an actual patient, but she definitely does not work here. we're the headquarters for the ASPS, not a doctor's office. I've actually never seen a patient walk through the doors.
that situation bites. hope it works out for you.
i gave notice myself a few weeks ago. my last day is may 9th. i move to Palo Alto, CA on the 15th. i don't have a job or a place to live yet. crazy times.
i'm going to love the new location, but i hate the job search part. i do enough freelance to pay rent, so that should tide me over until i find the right job.
but you shouldn't have any problem in chi-town. maybe you'll even get a place closer to your home.

yo man best wishes with the move. a couple buddies of mine did that not too long ago to san deigo. they love it. they had a tuff time finding jobs but they were in different industries than you or i.
good luck.

I got a job lead yesterday from Monster for an agency here in Houston. Don't know if you are willing to move down to the Space City, but if you are do a search for it on monster. It's for a senior lead designer position. $60-$80k a year.
Best of luck k0na!
