is there a way to tile an image on a page, and give each section tile crop marks.
im looking for something fairly automated.

seems like it would be easier to just give each tile section its owm page or document and let the prepress people tile it.
unless you are printing yourself, then you will probably neet to create your own cropmarks using the guides and the pen tool.

yeah, i am doing it myself. just some stickers.
there has to be something out there, photoshop does some nice things in the automated menu, but it flattens the image so you cant make crop marks from the images.

Use the step and repeat function in either quark or Indesign.
ie. copy items, repeat them every x incles, etc.

most rip programs will do this for you and also figure out the best way to use the available print area.

off the top of my head, in illustrator you could apply trim marks to your design...then draw a bounding box around that....select all, define pattern...draw an a4 rectangle and fill it with that pattern, should tile your design perfectly.
might work, might not
