hey kids. lseeing if anyone has any advise as to how to get the size of a png down. need the image to have a transparent background for flash, but can seem to optimize. even with image ready i can only get it down to like 300k. does anyone have any tips tricks to keep transpanecy but lower file size? so much thanks in advance for any advise.

sorry...
have only recently begun using pngs...so don't know too much about getting file sizes...
must say tho...the transparency on em blows gifs all ta hell..
quite impressed really.....

You should optimize them in Flash instead. Just export them in full quality, and adjust the optimization in Flash.

Use 8bit PNG instead of 24bit
