A few days ago a client asked me to update his site's meta description/keywords. Now he is wondering how long it's going to take for the changes to show up in Google search results.
I've re-submitted the site to be crawled.. but I can't seem to figure out how long it will actually take for that to happen.
Does anybody know? Or do you know how I can learn more?

it does seem take a while, and sometimes there's a transition period where the old and the new trade back and forth

I told him it could take "up to a few weeks"
