how do you set up your color settings for webdesign? As an Apple user I use the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 (guess it is quite a standard?) as Monitor setting (with PC gamma 2.2) as well as in the Photoshop color settings.
Should this work to get appropriate results?

i always start with PMS 4995.
i jest.
thing you gotta realize is that not many people have their monitors calibrated the same.
so the way you are doing it would be fine... but not everyone is gona see it the same way, no matter what you do.
so until someone comes up with a "monitor settings sniffer" script, you can only hope that your viewers have decent settings.
