rough concepts here:
http://www.nebogroup.com/sandbox…critique?
suggestions?
other directions to head?
logo like/dislike?

4
- atomica0
I like the third from the top... that photo really speaks. Might add a tinge of blue or any color to the more formal informational side so it unifies it a bit more....
- mbr0
3 or 4. 4 is probably more practical - it doens't leave 1/3 blank.

atomica, can't really add blue to the back because of the 4/1 color processing (4 color on front, grayscale on back).
as for the "most practical", i can get the photo ones done for $59 for 1000 cards (+s/h), so i'm still under budget.

thanks for the input though... keep it coming.
also, what about the logo? like/dislike? why? suggestions?
- luke0
logo = good exept the N-G connection seems not to fit exactly..
- chilaquil0
the logo:
I'm not personally crazy about it, but it seems to work ok.
It may just be a personal pet peeve but I don't like tall fonts with gawky ascenders. It makes me think of gawky tall basketball players.

4 is best, 3 could be good too if you tweak it.
- xrusos0
thanks guys. i'm working on a revision for you with the N and G part of the logo. i'll post when done.
anyone else have a thought or two?

watch out doing three to four %s of black on the back of a 4/1 job. They're going to screen back black ink to make gray, so on a cheap printer [like the one they'll probably use for a 59 dollar print job], you'll have to settle for dot patterns.
they look great when you do the designing, but always keep the final product/production in mind
2 color offset on a nice stock might be better for a business consultant b-card
but that photo is killer if there's a reason behind it

FOUR FOUR FOUR
it's certainly the best b.card although number one is cool.

why cows? looks too corporate...... hmmmnn dunno!?
- unknown0
yup, cows in a lake, a bit corny; nice photo though. Don´t like the logotype; too clumsy.
- schjetne0
Hehe. Cows...
I like it. I want b-cards with cows on them.
- unknown0
4 or 5, if 4 then lose the : after your name... not needed
- unknown0
I keep the cards from everywhere I've worked/work only got three though... http://www.mimeartist.com/cards/…

The type looks too big for business cards, and if your going to use the yak photo, keep it solely a photo and loose the text on it.

4!
I always say simplicity is always the best solution!
Number four is my fav.
- schjetne0
one.
You should go for the cows. Unique concept, and bound to raise some eyebrows... Attention-grabber.
