UK designers vs. US designers

Why is it that everytime I check out a site from someone from the UK it crushes anything Ive seen done by US designers? It doesnt stop there either...their print work and magazines are better as well.....WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??

I think the UK design comes off as being better for one or two reasons
1) it feels different because they simply have a different perspective on the world than us americans.
2)UK designers just seem to me just be a little more open, like less restricted when it comes to design

Some japanese fellas kick any european/american designers' asses. Anyways this is a bit pointless... I've seen amazing stuff from both UK and USA pimps. Location has nothing to do with talent, open minds, etc... I guess I dig those japanese crazy heads better just because they have this really unique vision. UK and USA ones somehow share a "common cultural background".

I wouldn't say Better... It's all about style. Depends on your influences, how u grew up, where you grew up, etc. I wouldn,t set any national boundaries nowadays cuz the internet alows people from everywhere to see whats goin' on everywhere else.
