actually, this thread turned to shit already a long time ago. didn't help that 573 tried started a pissing contest cos he took knee-jerk offense over an ambiguous post by niku.
btw, 573 you have a great portfolio, rather admirable one, definitely better than mine. But I don't really care what you have to say bout mine.

I was just wondering cause I dont meet very thats all...shit I was also wondering how many designers were from chicago...just havent posted that yet, besides I think someone asked that a week ago or so...gotta do a search for that I guess

about half a year ago i started wondering that and ended up with piperboy organizing a little NT get-together in toronto....
got to meet Carty and a few other cool designers here..
it's a great way to hook up with like minded folks....first you might try just a search on the pv-an here about chicago and see if anyone else has asked it before....

bloomingdale is about 15 minutes south of schaumburg. i'm only a 30 - 35 minute drive from the city.
i make it down there a couple times a month on weekends.
male hookers of course. i don't beat women either.

Mal great link...they have a small group here as well, the sad thing is there are only a few members in that group that are close to my age. Most of them (in the Chicago area chapter) are old skool designers, not only that its mixed with product designers and such...not that I dont like product design

exador your so right about that CHicago thing...there was and is a group out here that puts on little design events, but it seemed very close knit and self promo like. Maybe I need to see how many people are interested and put a show together for the Chicago area...like even come out and meet eat and drink, look at each others work network...beat up hookers just a good time...btw any hookers reading this I would never beat you up...I love everyone
