I'm current in the dev. stage of creat a website, and I am playing with idea of using iframes, I know ns 4- does not support them. Are there any other issues I should know about. The burton site uses alot of iframes including this page. The market im going for is pretty sim to burton. Any thoughts. There just so handy, easy, and neat, I love the I frame.

go for it man. i have never had anyone say that they couldnt see the iframe. screw 1997 netscape. those people shouldnt even be allowed to surf the net.

fair enough...but they are supported in later version of ns right? I know of a few people who get really agrevated when shit doesn't work in there crappy ns browser. When will they ever learn. Why the hell are there any diehards out there for NS4?

iframes are supported by every browser i can think of. in the newer versions anyway.
anyone who cant see your iframes, doesnt deserve to.

i used to be a diehard netscape nerd, but now it can eat my balls. i hate it.
go for the iframes.
the wya i look at it is, if its your own personal site, if they cant view iframes, theyre probably using a TRS 80 and wont be able to see your artowrk unless its in 4 shades of gray anyways!

I went through this battle with a client and managed to convince them because I had non-iframe content that was a simple link to the page that was in the iframe. So really even those old browser nerds eventually get to all the content - just through nasty links.
