Which ones do you hate the most?
I hate having to do like a machine with levers so people can chose their options.
Second would be spinning text on beveled buttons. Because it HAS to be on buttons right?
Btw, I also hate to use them to navigate, as a viewer. I don't want to play pull the lever, I just want to change my fucking video options.

screen based interfaces with real world metaphors are annoying--much like having an image of a remote control for a music player.
apple's old quicktime player (i forget which version) was a prime example of this.. having a thumb slider which adjusted the volume--but using your thumb and using the mouse are two totally different things :)
