My question is how did he do it? Not "how can I copy it" but just conceptually I'm trying to wrap my mind around what programs would be used to make something like this. It would have to be a 3D app right? Maybe a little after effects thrown in. I'm just trying to get a grasp of what programs do what.

yeah some after effects, but the arrows that curve around corners and have a little depth, you can't do that with just After Effects can you?

definately a 3d app aswell, very 123klan with alot of theyre artwork appearing in the tv's.
I've seen a site like this in the smae style, was grey with the grafitti style in the header. Very distinctive style, almost a blurred effect. anyone remember it?

tthe colours are just beautiful aren't they... the guy from 123klan told the conference about collaborating with a 3d animator so i'd assume it came from there because it looks sooooo 123klan as far as structure goes... they didn't say anything specifacally about this piece though, it was just one of the animations that ran between speakers...
