hi tara .... whats up yo. Stop Motion Animation can be massivly complex and intricate if you want to there. and yet it is logical and relativly easy to do if you understand the basic principals. Basically 24 frames a second.(film) 29.97 frames per second (video)
Each frame you adjust what you are animating ever so slightly while keeping the camera absolutly still.
That is the super basic concept of animation.

Break out the DV
camera and animate your furniture.Do it ! NOW !!!!!!!!!!!
