sorry- but vcd quality is half that of dvd. AND not in 5.1 dts.
there is no excuse for a film like this.
say for some new arnie movie, sure, nothing better then a comfy couch and beer. though this is the friggen matrix... not often films like these come around.

i agree
sometimes, size DOES matter.

Sapphire,
Lets not cry for the movie companies please! Your killing me dude. Do you really think that if Warner Bros were to go under Revolutions would not get released by the next big movie studio.
It's survival of the fittest, if the Matrix Reloaded ends up sucking, well, I would rather find out before I hand over $9.50 to Warner Bros and Keanu Reeves. Who the fuck cares if they get any money, Keanu for one should be counting his lucky stars. Being the incredible actor that guy is he's just lucky to be in Hollywood. Keanu tried to fuck up the first Matrix, luckily because of the great storyline and supporting characters he was unable to fuck it up.

Actually if you download the SVCD version of a movie you can watch it on your home entertainment which is way way better than going to the movies
there's no place like home
oh yeah and it's for free

(apr 13 03)BLASPHEMY! Buuuuuuuurn him!!!!!!!!!!!! :p Seriously, I have seen quite a few outstanding home cinema systems, and you just can't compare... If you wanna see a movie for the first time, go to a theater, home cinema can't give you that experience. It's good for seeing movies when you have seen 'em yet at a theater and surely to see classics that you won't be able to see at theaters. To each its own... And well, when celluloid gets totally replaced with digital movies, there will be absolutely no match. Same quality as DVD but a BIGGER screen and a sound that you can't achieve with a home cinema system. Easy as that. I had the chance to experience digital cinema yet (Attack of the Clones) and I can tell without a doubt that no home cinema can beat that experience. Period.

Like you said
to each his own
I'm not spending any money on sucky movies nor sucky music.
Hail mary and hail kazaa and the rest of the people/network who believe in try first buy later epitome.
I bought more dvd's, music and went more to the cinema since I can get it first for free over the internet.
Basically if something's good they don't have to worry about profits.

the matrix is irrelevant. jackie brown was way better.

Jackie Brown's badass, so is The Matrix. There's no need to put one over the other. They're both excellent from different points of view. Tho I agree that JB didn't get as much attention and praise as it deserved. Can't wait to see Kill Bill!

I'm definitely watching the Matrix: Reloaded in theatres. It'll be amazing and will be 99.9% better than downloading it off of Kazaa. I thought they were not allowing downloads anyway. But I guess there are always ways for people to get at it. I can't wait to see X2 either.
