I am looking for a software program like acid music but for the mac....
any suggestions?

I believe they have Acid Music for Mac as well. You could invest insomething better like Logic or Pro Tools, they are really not that hard to learn.

I also think they have some step down available from the boys at Cakewalk. Possibly might be Cakewalk itself or their other outstanding sequencer, Sonar, which is pretty easy to use as well. ;)

no props, also you might want to check out what Wavelab does, they might have a sequencer connected to that as well? Haven't played with that in a while.
