I went for an interview the otherday at a dvd authoring house where they edit, clean up film, author, design menus and graphics for dvd, subitlte etc etc.

it wasnt an advertised position but i mailed them, the saw my cv and liked me to come down for an interview.

i did, we talked and i was asked alot of questions relating to my broadcast graphics experience....after college i took it upon myself to learn after effects and so i wasnt taught therefore i only know as much as i find out. basically i wasnt v good at the answers.

the quicktime movies (work) from my disc were trying to be opened in windows media player,(the wouldnt open) and there seemed no rush to see my work.

had a tour of the offices, and was told the erratic hour shifts, 10 am - 10 pm, 6 pm - 2 am, not really a 9-5, they try to keep weekends free ??!! wtf?

because of the lack of jobs in new media, i had taken in chance in designing for another industry............what r ur thoughts about me getting the j.o.b ?
