kids, help me out. I'm trying to make a game im flash with a scrolling background. You press the left arrow, the dude walks left and background graphis scrolls and repeats to create an eternal landscape behind the dude. I can't get it to work, and my brain hurts.
Can anyone help? please?!

There is actually a great book out called "Flash MX Game Design" that teaches you how to produce this and all sorts of game types in Flash.
It has tutorials on tile based games and quite a bit about the physics side of programming.
