I heard a rumor in a board room that Kazaa is in talks with various record companies to go legal. They plan to do a kind of pay per view with mp3's. you download an mp3 and pay for it with credit card.
Anyone else hear this, the company i heard it from say that they have been approached by kazaa to impliment secure transactions in Oz.

don't matter much....
by the time it happens, someone else will have taken their place as the download program of choice..
and there's plenty out there to choose from...remember Napster...
took me all of a few minutes to find an alternative after that folded....
besides, i still consider it kinda like push radio....
if i like the stuff, i'll still go out and support the artist by buying the CD or seeing them in concert...prediction.
kazaa goes mainstream...
seconds later a zillion people switch to soulseek or something like it...

Ya i know all that, and i know they will never be able to stop it, unless some amazing technology is released, but i just thought it interesting that Kazaa was going to go to payment options. Is this the first company to do this.. or is it already in place
