This is not another flame war :)
This is your chance to participate in the development of a new Flash authoring program.
So here we go, state whatever complaints you have about Macromedia's official Flash app. (the editor, not the player(whatever version you use)), and whatever suggestions you have for a better Flash(aside from the $600 price tag for MX :) )
Every constructive suggestion will be taken into account.

yeah, Flash definately needs more Simpsons quotes ;)
and kpl, the curve editor is actually what im working on right now, now that I have a good part of the actual swf export going.

i've got one, when you resize an fla, it'd be nice to have a canvas size type tool like in photoshop so you could expand the fla from any direction, not just down and to the right.

? I'd like to see some 3D capabilities built into flash like Swift but less intense.
? I agree with the bezier tool. It should be like illustrator's bezier.
Do you want to know ideas for added features that aren't currently available? I have plenty of those.

sure, throw in whatever you feel. As a programmer and a designer I have what I feel like a very nice plan for my little app, though right now I feel myself redoing what Macromedia has already done. Which is fine, since the main purpose of this is to make a truly cross-platform, open-source flash editor. But in the end I want it to be better :) And I feel that by taking opinions from the designers is going to improve the final result greatly.
So yea, go ahead :)
