you know, the ones with colour swatches?
where can i get one from? are they expensive?

about €100. You probably need Pantone Solid Coated/Uncoated. Pantone, bastards, advise to change it every year. Yeah, right.

i thank you

do you deal directly with any vendors or printers? you might be able to score a hookup or an extra copy.

Here's another option:

I just got it, instead of the pantone process guides.. you don't get 'uncoated' samples but theres more color swatches at a much cheaper price.

If your going to do full color print
work i would suggest the pantone
solid to process book because it
will give you correct fc translations of the solid pantones.

sound. cheers arejay.
I"ll try and blag a book from our printers. They are well known for being super co-operative and constantly friendly!
The man in charge at my office (not in any way a designer) is scared of Pantones and printing in general and doesn't want anything fucking up. So he's going to buy the pantone books. Hurrah!
