no offence meant! Just wasn't sure if you guys had some involvement in the MTV2 stuff...read an article on it in Gi a while back but couldn't put a name to the work.

The GI project has been worked on; on and off since December-ish and ironic someone was doing it the month before we were going to launch and shown in the magazine! and then Hi-res have something similar (We've never been so trendy :)

When The Mill closed it's online department... so in October 2002...
I joined someone I used to work with at Edwards Churcher... who had lined up the GI work... We share our studio with MadeThought, and also Universal/Barber Osgerby... So got the contact from MadeThought, and showed them stuff we'd done for Universal... simple!

It's a core team of two... but we have a copule of great animators we use when needed... Scone is good (you'll find his stuff at pictoplasma) and we get project managers in who give us a clip-on tie each when needed.

Engage bit of a boring maybe obviouse question but on your site when you mouse over the logo and you get the return to menu over state how did you get the box so sharp in flash, is it an image.???

there are similar elements. Rip is when the site is exactly the same. I think there are enough differences to say they are not rips.

i like it more than hi-res... personally.

NTSDADDY... it's a photoshop image that's then autotraced... it is slightly rounded so needed a transparency on the corners
