Seattle is nice. I like the west coast, it's so relaxed and laid back.

I agree. Seattle is a great place. I love the mountains, woods and wide open spaces. But Chicago is cool too. It is much more community oriented it seems.
And don't worry SeasOfRye, it would take a pretty sweet job offer to get me to move from my homeland. And in this economy might not happen.

ya know what's funny about this whole thread, is that i went to chicago this past weekend to hang out with my sis and bro-in-law, and decided to move as well! it seems like an awesome city and is soooo easy to get around in..
trouble is, that besides my sis (who's always out of town ... seriously, like 24-7), i don't know a SOUL down there....
anyone got any tips? i'll working in a 5 person web design house .... any fun things to do where i could meet people? (besides being the lone guy drinking at the bar).tips?
