For the first time in my life I actualy feel threatened by the US. Their "if you're not with us you're against us" attitude is scary.
What Bush has shown the world is that every nation is a potential target for the American Imperialist machine...every nation who doesn't posess nuclear weapons that is.
I think we're going to see a proliferation of nuclear weapons in the near future as countries seek a deterent from American invasions. Then the fun will begin :(

"The Iraq campaign is a sideshow, a grudge match, a distraction. It will breed more martyrs, and more terrorists."
so true, so true.

Most European media is stuffed with items about anti-americanism; something you hardly EVER see in the US.
Yesterday a really interesting interview with some experts on BBCWorld on how the US media shites their pants about bringing negative news about the war to the people. No wonder so mayn people 'back' their president. The high level of confidence some people have in the Bush administration is really something to worry about.
Also some interesting interviews with other Middle_East leaders who are already registering an increasing amount of terrorism and anit-american sentiment.
Thanks Bush for NOT bringing people and nations together.
Also: what about him promising Rumsfeld to take the lead in post-war govermental issues in Iraq. NOw he is saying yay and amen to Blair when he mentions that is a job for the UN. And so it is. For the UN in building up the system, and for the Iraqi people to decide.
Although Rumsfeld (and Cheney (don't forget the huge $$$ deals he's into) would have wanted it otherwise.

It's gonna be interesting in four/five years time when GWB has to hang up his hat and give up the presidency...
...he'll have to, won't he?
- Jamesh0
He'll just add another line to Patriot Act II that allows him to retain the presidency until terrorism is defeated.
Then conveniently Osama will strike again which will result in the USA attacking another oil rich country. (repeat cycle infinitely)

There are more than 3000 Iraqi Civilian casualties in this war! Where is the public outcry for the lost of these innocent lives. Who's mourning their deaths?? Are they not worth one minute of airtime? God save us all, we are all bastards!
- ********0
I agree with the we are all bastards part.

don't worry fellow canadians, when an american makes an insulting comment towards our country, just think back to olympic men's hockey.

Captain America's only weapon is his Vibranium shield, a concave disk 2 1/2 feet in diameter that weighs 12 pounds. The shield's exceptional aerodynamic properties enable it to slice through the air with minimal wind resistance and deflection of path. The disk's unparalleled overall durability, coupled with a natural concentric stiffness, allows it to rebound off solid objects with minimal loss of angular momentum.
