CD-ROM Time out

Does anyone know if it is possible to put a time limit on a CD-ROM (director or flash), so that it will not run after a certain amount of time?
Any help would be helpful

Check the time in your flash movie? You'll have to run the movie to check the system time but at least you can stop it from going on.
Someone could still easily change their clock though.

I can see what you mean, but what I was thinking about was a little different.
Basically we have put together a CD-ROM in flash for a client. After a year or so the info on the disk will be out of date and so we want the disk contents to somehow lock up after 12 months. I have seen this done before on a CD done in director.
I am a little lost as to where to begin
