i'd like to have a simple question answered: how do i relocate all frames and layers (the whole scene) onto the stage so that my movie will be properly displayed. im having trouble here. thanks

thanks for your promptness, but im having the same problem still. everytime i move the scene, random layers end up unselected at random keyframes and such. ill keep trying

i would recommend copying the whole scene to start with.
then in the copy, you can screw around as much as you need.
select all the layers and copy frames.
then make a new scene, paste the frames. move around as needed. then rearrange your scenes as needed.

you can't just use ctrl + c and ctrl + v with copying frames.
right click/cmd click after you've selected all your frames and select copy.
go to new movie, right click/cmd click paste frames.

CTRL+ALT+A = select all frames
CTRL+ALT+C = copy selected frames
CTRL+ALT+V = paste selected frames.
works fine in mx for me. hopefully you too.
