Ok, so the situation has changed a bit. I'm now looking for eighties sites, with spandex and big hair and tiger / leopard patterns and too much pink and such.

i started a thread a while ago on how i can go about making these pattern background that everyone (but me) seems to be so good at making these days. are there any softwares that allow me to tile patterns and check them out? and are there any tutorials on this? any help would be much appreciated.

i just found some old wallpaper on the web and found a section of it that would repeat
for grungy textures, try scanning old bits of paper / driving licences / tax forms etc and layering them over the image you want to apply the texture to - with opacity down to 20% or whatever looks good.
