This might be a bit too heavy for a friday afternoon, but any help would be appreciated:

I've got a logo in photoshop as a cmyk .psd, this logo is then saved as a cmyk jpeg and a cmyk tiff.

When the jpeg logo and tiff logo are opened in either indesign or quark they print out different from the psd logo printed in photoshop.

The consistency of the colour of the logo is getting unmanagable.

If the psd file is saved as an RGB jpeg and RGB tif it prints out in indesign and quark the same as the CMYK psd.

I can't work out why this is happening to me on a friday afternoon when i want to be in a beer garden, but need to get this sorted.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
is it something to do with CMYK - RGB conversion?

I dont think it matters. In the end the file should separate correctly.

You could always separate from PS and Quark and see if they are the same

If your worried you can always save the logo out as a DCS file.

I think ;) Its been 3 years since I’ve done any print.
