$20,000 to spend (w/ restrictions)

My friend has $20,000 to spend as last minute end of year budget. (Yes, government spending IS crazy!)
It is an IT support department and they are out of ideas as to what to buy. They cannot buy computers (that's from a different budget) or things that do not relate to their work. This budget is to buy things that support their department. They have things like 19" flat panels touch screen monitors, a Mac G4, routers, removable media, web cams, Palm and other handhelds, just to name a few.
Given the restictions and what they already own, what would you recommend they purchase?
