Hey Y'all.
I'm looking for some examples of good design done in Japan for some personal research. Yugop.com is a given. But I'm looking for other examples either of Japanese corporate or experimental/pesonal design.BTW, my team just launched www.hitachi.co.jp and http://global.hitachi.com/ if you want to have a look.

Yo Lance, what's up?

There are a few links to sites under the link exchange section at Shift. That would be:
http://www.shift.jp.org/link/

Thanks Peter. Yeah, that's a good one and definitely a place to start. Thing is though most of those designers are doing mostly boutique work. I'm trying to track down a more diverse mix of corporate design in Japan as well. R/GA level of work. Anybody know who does this in Japan?

This was pretty cool for an interface when it was avaiable:
http://www.klein-dytham.com/arch…Also http://www.mid-tokyo.com/
It might not be the newest one out there, but still deserves a visit.

So Lance, where are you working?

Yeah, mid-tokyo.com is very good work. Tokyo design shop Imgsrc did that (www.imgsrc.co.jp)

I'm working in Tokyo actually. Fun place to be. Where you at?

Cool portal site for creatives. I'll have a look around. Where you at Mobius?

I like the Hitachi site. I don't think it's very Mac friendly though. I see a white pixel width space between the images of the mobile phone. And the navigation text is much bigger than the 12 px I think. Was that intentional?
