hey u - i need help...
i'm making a logo for this kid about satellite radio.. so can u tell me what the appropriate "waves" (if they even
are called waves) are called?

satellite and radio waves generally speaking, are different.
and their are many different forms of both.
common radio waves are VHF, UHF or HF (very/ultra high frequency).

wait, aren't satellite waves (microwaves, right) and radio waves all just electromagnetic radiation? they're not that much different, just varying amounts of energy/frequency.
