flash on mac is not perfect yet, but there are big differences on different sites. This one http://www.rob3d.com is fast and smooth, while other 'simpler' sites is slow and jaggy. I think the webdesigner is responsible for the bad performance (on macs) in many cases. concider this when flashing. optimize.
hear your say.

like the O and the A just fill up ....

ah, that's because they're not made for flash.
a) use fonts for flash www.fontsforflash.com
b) make sure to have whole integer vaues for x and y coordinates

have you tried dynamic text... using the pixel fonts
- fate0
bad idea madino. That would load the font from a users Computer. They don't have the font, they see nasty TNR.

so I have to buy fonts meant for flash ? no other way ?
- fate0
I think they're free....
There are plenty of other pixel fonts that don't fuck up either. Check out the "Standard" series, they're pretty nice.

er... you can use dynamic text... but again you must include the font itself, and make sure it is a whole number x, and y.
