"I feel as if I am inside fireworks!"
"I live each day awake, aware and deliberate"

"The mission of Avatar in the world is to catalyze the
integration of belief systems. When we perceive that
only difference between us is our beliefs, and that
beliefs can be created or discreated with ease, the
right and wrong game will wind down, a co-create game
will unfold, and world peace will ensue."Anybody know about these guys?

Yeah actually, my dad got interested in that... he took me to a free 'introductory' avatar course.
It was cheesy. The worst part was that each successive section costs more and more money, starting in the $500 range. Great fucking religion, it will save the world, but only at the right price ...
I have a few funny stories from that workshop though. We did a series of exercises to awaken our super-avatar powers.
For example they put a colored 'star' sticker on each of our foreheads, so that we didn't know what color we had. Then we were supposed to find other people with the same color, without speaking. So picture a bunch of middle-age 'new-age' weirdos milling around in a small room, with stars on the their foreheads and dreamy smiles, staring at each other, acting like they have psychic powers or something. Pretty creepy.

church of scientology is the same way, you pay and pay and pay to get rid of negative energy through crazy therapy/technogadget sessions.
i suppose that's what you get from following a sci-fi writer who once said, "if you want to make a lot of money in the world, start a religion."
but if you have cash like tom cruise, john travolta, and kristy alley, then it looks like it's right up your alley. (i think you have to be missing a brain too)

(follow up: l. ron hubbard, founder of scientology, ended up sailing a giant cruise ship around the world - avoiding taxes - crewed by his scientoligist zombies -that paid for the ship- for the rest of his life. i suppose rolling in his cash every night)
