yeah, yeah, people can do whatever, but does it has to be so ugly?
Ugly things are things that haven´t been thought through and things not thought through are not to be respected by others.

anyway, be shure to differ patriotism and nationalism. important! patriotism good, nationalism bad. I think Europe is very careful about being patriotic as the history contains much nationalism and the difference is kind of blurred out... so when we see patriotic americans we get sceptic...

Patriotism is a distraction. The real irony in this that the government is the constitution and the people who claim to be the government wish this document never existed for the sake of their own power. Well the irony is that the government is anti government... wheres the patriotism?
if anything in a republic where every state supposed to be its own country shouldn't patriotism be local to the state you are a citizen of?
