i think you should fix the text for your buttons. they seem blurry to me.
i say take the arrows out too. but that's just me.

i like it. the navigation is easy to find and has good discriptions of what i will find when i click on the buttons.
the only thing that is kind of throwing me is the logo that is on the page. it reminds me a lot of the 2 advanced logo.
i am also really tired, so maybe that's it. congrats on your first site, it looks good.

I am going to re-work the nav buttons a little cause I see what you are saying.
Also, yes the logo was 2 advanced influenced - shoot me. I admire there creativity and kinda a homage since when I created the logo I was on a brain fart.

Yeah. It is really really hard to get a clean effect via an image yet keep the filesize down.
I personally dont have enough time to master the art.
