I have an external firewire drive, and today i double clicked on it to access my mp3's and i got a warning saying "Drive is not formatted, do you want to format this drive now."
Is my drive screwed, it was working ok lastnight. Also when i go to its properties it tells me There is 0 space available and 0 data on the drive.Im windows xp. Its a 80gig drive hooked up to a laptop. thanks god i back up about 80% of my music, but all my porn...I mean..all my files arent backed up.

did you try unhooking the drive and then restarting and then hooking it up - all this in a completely random order a few times while doing the rain dance?

tried everything, even the old bitchslap to the side of the drive but nothing. I suppose it wasnt ment to be, that drive and me. Oh well, I also had about 10 gigs of warez on it. Serves me right for steelin form them rich software developers i suppose

maybe its a virtual-devine intervention trying to tell you something.... that too much 'files' can make you go blind.
