I'm new to mac.
I spoke to a friend this morning, and he said he doesn't use any antivirus software. He said there are far fewer people writing stuff for macs than pc's. He said he hasn't had any problems in 4 years of using a mac.you? If you do use antivirus, which one?

i've had a mac for 6 years, and i think i has one virus once.. and i used a free anti virus patch to get rid of it... if you're asking if you should buy an anti-virus app, i would say no..

I use Virex but its Macafee thus updates are only per month. NOrton is better except it dogs your system. Virex is good though.
Really, I wouldn't even bother with one. Just copy it off someone and its all good. Money isn't worth spending on Mac Antivirus cause everyone thinks everybody is on windows. Good, since that keeps these moron's occupied with the PC world
