My girlfriend is going to University of Wisconsin for some orientation thing tomorrow, she wants me to drive up there with her. Is there anything to do up there. I went to the tourist site, but it didn' t look too good.
Any help?

its not that bad i've been here for about that and i still enjoy it..you just have to get used to more simple things...Design tends to keep me afloat mood wise.

yup, it's a boring town alright in the middle of nowhere, plenty of posers and snobs who act like it's a big city but it's more of a gas stop [it'll make you wonder..."wtf, why are all these people so snobby, this ain't no big city, it's more of a gas stop"]-occasionally a touring act will do a show there, but you can alway walk the college ghetto and hang out on a porch with an old sofa on it, and don't forget, you get to freeze yo ass off in the winter...

i've lived here most of my life and know from long term exposure to Madison and to Wisconsin that the people here aren't snobby at all. In fact i see them as realistic down to earth people. If they give you a "snobby" attitude its probably because you did something to deserve it. Then again what do i know I'm from Madison Wisconsin and i'm a poser.

I lived there for 10 years, I love the city, tons to do there, great art scene and people. But of course it is no NYC. I miss it a lot while I am in school here at http://www.rit.edu .

I heard the chicks are real freaky and bi. Is that true? Its also almost always on the lists of best cities. For reasons like low polution, low crime, organic food coop, low unemployment rate?, winter activities.
