sup guys. i wouldnt call myself a html newbie, (i've designed my share of bad geocities sites ;-)), and actually i've recently gotten into designing curved tables thanks to a dude from newstoday (i think it was breed).
anyhow most html sites/books i've checked out are basically fundamentals, but i need something that has tips and tricks on the modern design of sites, ie curved tables, k10k style kind of things, how to control the exact width of your site, controlling layout precisely, only display 750 pixels etc.. any recommendations, im gonna stop by the book store today.
recommended sites would be great too.
peaceNadvance.
ps: dont mean to come off as trendwhorish, but there's things i really dig about new design, and want to master them so i can put my own spin on things. i've been practicing like mad, but certain things i dont know where to start, like those scrolling cells in say a site like the content section in

You should be able to do most of your learning online:
is a good place to start.
WTF are 'curved tables' btw?
