Ireland v England
6 Nations
Neither side beaten yet.
Final GameInteresting fact:
There have been 5 occasions when this has happened, and in all five the home side has come out victorious.
Also:
The last time England had a chance at the Grand Slam they were stopped by Ireland... Where? At Landsdown road. 2001.The last time Ireland did it was over 50 years ago.
It' WILL be an occassion to remember
May the best team win.

Firstly: It's darn nice to have a fellow rugga fan on nt as they seem to be few and far between as I've posted many a rugga thread without response.
Secondly: I'm Welsh so, as you have probably already worked out, i'll be routing for Ireland.
Thirdly: Another fact...Jason Robinson runs fast but is the direct relative to the chicken. (see what i've done there)

Hey QQ,
you guys gave us a scare on the weekend. Great game. And yes, Mr. Robinson will hopefully be running like a headless chicken come Sunday.
The man himself:
"It's going to be mad over there. Ireland are one of the best teams in the world right now. They play with a lot of passion but they've also got a lot of skill. They're going to be difficult to beat. For the first time for a long time against anyone other than France in the Six Nations, we probably won't be favourites."

Arrogant English Wa***rs

Its a pity that Landsdown only hold 40,000. Its be so much more enjoyable to hear 80,000 shouting abuse at them.
I just hope Ireland don't have another 'glorious defeat.'

A Rugby Thread! : )
What a classic it is shaping up to be....whoever wins it is going to be a fucking brilliant game.
Rooting for England though!
Used to play in High School and every year they would show it (then called 5 Nations!) on a big screen at the country club that I used to go to with my dad...ahhhhh memories....

Best of luck Jevad. Its gonna be a cracker.
Its on at 11pm sunday here in sydney. Its on in a 3,000 capacity concert hall with 3 giant screens with a full bar license from 5pm. So no doubt, win or loose, monday will hurt!

Go the Irish. As an Australian, you always want to see the english get beat.
