Can you look at http://www.ol0lo.com w/safari? The image doesn't appear for me. I can open the image in a new window, or download it ok, but it doesn't appear in the page.....
If you look at the source I didn't do anything unusual, it's just a regular img tag. Do you know what's going on?

but when you click and drag on the spot it suddenly appears until you release the mouse again...

i think the problem lies in your table: it seems that sfari believes that the height _has_ to be 1%
TD height="1%"
Just change that or remove it and see if it works. I bet it will.
