hey guys
i was wondering if anybody out there knows where I can get this font... or a font that is very similar... for free?
it is called "DIN 1451 MittelSchrift"... you can see it here:

i am a poor designer who can't afford such fonts right now... haaaa... so if anybody out there knows where i could find it... i would be SO thankful!

It's $21 to buy. If you're using it for a client, charge them the $21.

I would agree charge them and then keep it, that's how it usually works anyway. You could probably find it somewhere, but you would be looking for a while, it seems somewhat obscure. :)

whoa, I could never charge a client for a frikkin font, they'd just tell me "to use some other damn font" or choose one themselves (of course not as pretty as your suggestion)

either you charge them or take that into account for the total cost of the project it's up to you

use comic sans, thats whats going to end up there anyway..sop you may aswell do it now rather than later

i would always charge a client for a new font i bought for the project. or work it into the cost somehow.

hmmmm... I want the font for my own personal portfolio work...
but I am working for a client now... I don't plan on using the font for this particular job... BUT I could ask them to buy it... it's not like they would know what font it was... and whether or not it was used anyway! haaaaaa
... or not... stupid expensive fonts...

well you could throw in the license fees and then find it or something like it elsewhere, I mean it's your business so you run it the way you want to.
