that is a hell of a list of qualifications.

That means the people hiring are retarded. Anyone who asks or requires that many skills is gonna get a crappy employee, you know, Jack of all trades, Master of none!
:P

A lot of it says "knowledge of" or "understanding of" rather than actual skills, so it might be checking that you could interact with the departments that have those skills? Surely a senior designer is a designer rather than a programmer?

they better be paying more than 35,000 Pounds for that jobbie job!
- tjk_work0
all for just 35k....
it seems like they just picked all of those different words out of a computer arts magazine and put them all in together.

Feck! thats loooads, but I do know a few people who have the majority of this list!
Maybe the employer is trying to weed out time wasters, if not they know exactly what they want.
I always say if your keen apply, theres no harm in trying, you can learn alot these days in such a smal space of time, and don't tell me you've never blagged your way into something or somewhere!!
jobs are there for the taking if you don't know something read up on it.
stretchy long one out for now. : )

ps they are asking alot and I agree with the above,
'knowledge of........'
