Yes all of the above Quamb. And architects, ID, artists, etc, etc. :) They are just not quite as many.

I personally try to get better then I was, not better than others are. Makes the whole thing less competitive and it helps me enjoy works by others much better :)

that's a really healthy way to look at it reluct. I find it's destructive to compare myself unfavourably with the best in my field, be it design / music / whatever. It's good to expand horizons and all that, but comparing your work with stuff you did say a year ago has a much more positive effect.

I'm seriously considering a 'design news blackout' for six months. There's loads of great work out there - but it's very easy to be subconciously influenced and starting accidentally copying stuff.
