I am considering getting another external firewire drive. How do you like yours? Do I need/want a fan for a 7200rpm drive?

I have the LaCie 120gb... it has a fam but nice and quiet, and it goes to sleep when it's not in use, so I just leave it on all the time... which is convenient for running Retrospect backups at night, or logging in while travelling to grab files.
