Good tiled backgrounds

I am looking for good backgrounds (not 45 degree lines). Something that looks like retro wallpaper, but anything would be helpful.
Sites with good ideas for bgs, or sites with images.

yeah good call. ive been looking for the same for a couple days.. i found some OK 3d textures that i was trying to work with but no luck..
if i find anything good, you'll be the 2nd to know!

why not make your own?
more satisfying than using someone elses.

That's the idea, I would just like to see some good examples to get some ideas. I always find it more beneficial to look at others that have done something along that lines of what you are doing to help stimulate some creative thinking. I guess you could call it research.
I don't intend on 'using' anyones and have a good idea of what I want to do. But not exactly.
