Hi,
This is like my third contract :)
wanted to know what yall think of it , it will be up on its official .com next monday or soo.The client really was a pain in the ass, he made me do all kind of modifications and stuff that personaly i dont like , like the red bar under the menu and the top image and all kind of stuff , that clearly for me were alot better in my demo version.
On top of it all , he couldnt provide me with any source files , be it either logos or quarkxpress poster design , or the fonts used in their advert poster. he just gave me a bunch of jpg , like the logo on blue background ..
the Front page ( french/english ) i actualy only had control over the design of the buttons , the rest he absolutely wanted to have that blue background and with the star in the middle , logo etc... soo i did what i could with the buttons :)
Anyways , its strange cuz im quite satisfied with the overal final result , probably because i never done something with that kind of style... See its an event for kids , but the site is probly aimed a little more at the parents... kind of like the olympic games but for childrens in montreal, big even in mtl , since 25 years...
well i hope i didnt borred you too much with my bla bla bla , im sure i lost a couple of you :) , oh well here is the link :

I was competing in this event like 11-12 years ago in the basketball and athletism team , and we lost miserably ahaha , i still have my shirt and my participation medal.. :)

dans l'ensemble, je trouve que c'est bien fait.
i think it has that commercial look that would be well received by the target audience.

Lorem Ipsum ma cherie! Just to be picky, I'd complain that the lemon yellow in the star doesn't really fit with the mustard one in the logo, but that's it.

Yeah the client said the audience was childrens , but i dont think kids give a fuck about what the Mayor has to say , or press release , or pretty much 90% of the content of the site soo i went for a kid/parent style sorta thingy there... :/
thanks montreal, i have similar document which i basicaly take and modify each time for each contract , but its a bit more "simple" than yours .
yours gets more in some details i neglected :).
so i was wondering if you had any french version ? or ill have to translate ! doh ! :)
