click one of the links (in the middle of the page) at http://www.barter-service.com/an… ... a pop up opens,
if you click another link another pop up opens ...
What I'd like to happen is that one pop up closes automatically if another one is opened - so that there's only 1 pop up open at time .... possible??
thanks

give the popup the same name each time you call it, that way each new page will launch in the same popup window.

the easy way would be to give the same name to every pop-up window . gerade wenn sie alle die selbe größe haben. if they´re different in size you vcould also make a javascript self.close action and adress it to the window name that is currently open - hilft das weiter?

thanks but that won't work for 2 reasons:
-once opened, the pop-up lies hidden under the other browser window
-every pop up has a different size
that's why the current pop-up needs to be closed and a new one opened ...

then as far as i know you should try it wiuth a small php script that dynamically loads a header for each html site and so you can also replace the window name with a variable (lets call it $name) and each link says on (click) js closeblabla ($name)
that should work
..but when i have time let me think about it again ...

try this in the body tag of each popup html page
onblur="window.close()"
