working on this cd-cover to be released in japan and other asian countries. if you know this market please take a look an comment. also to be released in scandinavia, so any comment welcome actually.
what kind of music do you think this is?

looks like an enya cd. the asian market is all hello kitty, pastel pinks and stuff. looks out there enough for the japanese market tho. hard to read the text

It looks kinda classical/pop crossover.
But as far as the Japanese market goes - as long as it has blonde women on it they will buy it..... They are suckers for fair hair. think that may not be so rare in scandanavia though, so may not work as well!

I'm supprised. you pointed the music on the spot. enya, modern folk or world music with classical tuch.
the problem is that in scandinavia/west it may be associated with a crappy girl band. we might have to make two different versions of it.
it is a challenge to make design for other cultural prefrences. more comments from japan/asia are welcomed.

There will be stickers put all over the cover including the left side tray. Varieng in all colors...
Try to keep the text topside (So people can read it while going through the cdrack) and please, please no dropshadows...
