hello all.
we have recently completed a site for a band who wanted a music player for their site. i have tested this on 5 different computers (no macs) with various internet connections and it works everytime. on the other hand, my client says that his friends can't hear anything or if they do, the song cuts off.
please go to the site and tell me if you can hear their music.

the first track only works for me. if i skip tracks it quits altogether.
mac os 9.2.2 and ie 5.1.5 on a t1

yeah, if you skip tracks, you gotta push play each time. i guess i should fix that.
i asked my client if he was sure that he was pushing play, and he said "uh...i think so" i think not.
anyone on dailup that might could test this for me? mad love.

What player?
I can't see one anywhere, everything is HTML. The only music I found was in the media section where you can listen to some MP3s.If I'm beeing a fuckwit sorry but v.confused :-)

the flash player is in a pop-up window. since they wanted just an html site, but they wanted to be able to listen to the music while navigating the site, this is the only way i thought to do it.

It works fine on NS 7 and IE 5.5. DSL connection.
If the tracks are streaming and you don't test out how fast the user's machine is downloading (and that's an unreliable test anyways - getBytesLoaded / time) to direct to an appropriate bitrate, there's not much chance that it'll stream smoothly on a dialup connection.
Anyone with dialup, correct me if I'm wrong...

works good on Explorer 5.1 on a fucking Mac ;)

My god did you see their news post - they should get in here and bolster the pro-war crew.
