im here for vacation and im wondering if anybody knows of any good clubs/bars out here.. hopefully one the the halfproject team members are checkin this thread.. where do all the design folks hand out here.. thanks ahead... arcatek.....

you better watch out down there mate, especially if you look like a tourist. That is a danger land to westerners, I only say that to help you. I almost took a job in Manilla, but turned it down after like 20 people were molested there.

i was there in April, visiting family. Being a girl, they wouldn't let me out at night, but my mom got exorcised...it didn't last.

ok... here are some great places to go to...
1. libis or eastwood - a whole strip/place for all those cool places.
2. timog - the same
3. malate - great party place
4. Boracay - you must go there if you are on a vacation. MUST.email the hp crew, they might help you, and even meet you. :)

finally get to respond to my thread. im filipino so i probably wont get kidnapped. actually maybe cause i look so cali wearin skater shoes and gear. goin to manilla on thurs so ill check out the scene.. later yall..

hey arcatek,
Z here from HP, better check out the beach over at Boracay, or better yet go to Bagiuo (which is one of the best tourist spots here, lotsa cool clothes, nice weather) but if you are looking for the sun, just head over to any of the beaches here.
Traffic is a mess here in Manila, but if you will stay in the provinces, well i recommend go to Visayas!
Speaking of Manila, lotsa big malls out here. Most of the people are heading there for air-con..hahaha
The clubs and bars is quite nice too, especially in Malate as mentioned earlier.
