they should look for a programmer, not a designer...
an educated programmer with 5 years experience should make the requirements just fine.
- unknown0
...there not after much are they.
- jevad0
that's the thing - I think they're expecting a little too much asking for a graphic/web designer who can do all that - they should be looking for a programmer who can design....

I hate the term 'creative art worker'.... hmmmm...
- reluct0
If you fit that description you don't need to apply for work I guess.
Silly demands are king now that the market is flooded with broke ass designers like me.
- unknown0
creative artworker = knows quark and has a love affair with KPT and Brush Script.
- unknown0
theres no need for an artworker to be creative... all they do is clean up what us designers have done and prepare it for print....
- unknown0
its a repro house thing, they consider it 'added value'.
Personally I'd be rather annoyed if an artworker started getting creative with my work. But then I usually do all my own artwork anyway.
- reluct0
Hmmm better respect artworkers. Without them we would need actual skills. lol.
- unknown0
Id hate to artwork my own work.. it'd look well shit.
